By the sea is an audio-visual portrait of the Venetian sea, structured in three main sections in which the observer’s gaze explores different elements: starting with the amorphous nature of the place, passing through its dynamic character in the second act, and finally reaching the feeling of holy intimacy in the last chapter.

Hwyl is a wide-meaning Welsh word that Tiffany Watt Smith describes as "the word for a boat sail [...] that means exuberance or excitement, as if clipping along on a guest of wind". Hwyl can also be used to say goodbye (Hwyl fawr - go with the wind in your sails).

Divided into three evening events, 'Ascolti dallo studio - Diari Veneziani', written by Luca Benatti and directed by Francesco Rossi, will take you into the musical world of six living Venetian composers, through music and words.

Sonder meaning: "The profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers passed in the street, has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it." Coined in 2012 by John Koenig, whose project, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, aims to come up with new words for emotions that currently lack words.
